Welcome to Play Yellow

Why Yellow?

Play Yellow is a movement founded by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus in an effort to raise money through the golf industry for Children’s Miracle Network across the country. This initiative is widely supported in the golf community and boasts the support of well-known golf entities, such as the PGA TOUR, Callaway, PGA TOUR Superstore and more!

Play Yellow traces its origins back to a young man and friend of the Nicklaus family, Craig Smith, who was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer, Ewing Sarcoma, in 1968. This program is a tribute to Craig, who had a penchant for wearing a lucky yellow shirt to cheer on Jack when he was competing, and his remarkable friendship with golf’s greatest champion.

Locally, Play Yellow helps to raise unrestricted funds for Children's Miracle Network of Greater St. Louis' (CMN-STL) member hospitals. You too can Play Yellow and help turn the love of golf into a movement to change kids’ health and change the future.
