While on a family vacation to Washington State to do research for a 5th grade project, Peyton started to experience pains that would change her life.
Cancer wasn’t the diagnoses Peyton and her family expected to hear however at age 9 Peyton was diagnosed with leukemia. Now in remission, Peyton has endured years of chemotherapy, spinal taps and testing.
Peyton is now dancing thought life and has a bright outlook on the future. She is active in a theater troupe and is playing ice hockey with her little sister.
