Champions for Children Raises $52,000

St. Louis, MO, June 28, 2011 – The 1st Annual Chipping in for Children Golf Tournament, hosted by Cliffedge Marketing in affiliation with Walmart, proudly announced that it raised $52,000 to benefit Children’s Miracle Network of Greater St. Louis and its local member hospitals, St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center.
Held at Whitmoor Country Club in St. Charles on Thursday, June 23rd, the field of 144 golfers included representatives from Walmart and its vendors, the CMN Board of Directors, CMN Miracle Ambassadors, CMN’s young professionals group Champions for Children, and other supporters of the organization.
Children’s Miracle Network of Greater St. Louis is a local non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for partner hospitals, St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center. CMN funds are equally shared by both hospitals and benefit patient services, new programs, and equipment that aid in helping improve the lives of hospitalized children.
