Blizzards in August

Whether your favorite Blizzard is Oreo, Butterfinger, or the brand-new Nutter Butter, one thing is certain - Dairy Queen Miracle Treat is one of the tastiest days of the year.  The 6th Annual Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day was held on Thursday, August 11th at participating Dairy Queen locations throughout the St. Louis metropolitan region and across the nation.  These Dairy Queen locations generously donated at least $1 from each Blizzard treat sold throughout the day to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.  Locally, over $65,000 was raised to help children hospitalized at our partner hospitals, SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center and St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Throughout the day friends, families, coworkers, students and other supporters of CMN St. Louis went to their local Dairy Queen to enjoy a Blizzard (or two!) and help our amazing hospitals continue their life-changing work.  Many businesses even called in large orders for their entire office or department!

Not only is Miracle Treat Day a fan favorite, it’s also a favorite of our Miracle Ambassadors.  Miracle Ambassadors visited various Dairy Queen locations throughout the region, and even helped make Blizzards and chatted with customers throughout the day.
