15 Hours of Free Flapjacks at IHOP February 28

St. Louis, MO, February 21, 2012 – Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater St. Louis (CMN St. Louis) is proud to announce that from 7am-10pm on Tuesday, February 28th, IHOP restaurants throughout the St. Louis area will offer each guest a free short stack of its famous buttermilk pancakes on National Pancake Day in an effort to raise awareness and funds for CMN St. Louis.                          

For every short stack of buttermilk pancakes served on National Pancake Day, IHOP guests are invited to make a voluntary donation to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater St. Louis.  Donations made at IHOPs in the St. Louis area will benefit the local partner hospitals of CMN St. Louis, SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. 

Nationally, IHOP hopes to raise $2.7 million this year, with a goal to bring the total amount of funds raised to more than $10 million.  To find a local IHOP or to donate online, visit www.ihoppancakeday.com

Children’s Miracle Network of Greater St. Louis is a local non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for its partner hospitals, SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center and St. Louis Children’s Hospital.  CMN funds are equally shared by both hospitals and benefit patient services, new programs, and equipment that aid in helping improve the lives of hospitalized children.
