By far one of our most fun and energetic fundraising events, the Dance Marathon program is one of the fastest growing programs for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.  However, Dance Marathon is far from a simple 12 or 24-hour dancing event for college students to dance and raise money.  It’s actually a year-long effort of intricate planning, fundraising, and recruitment by a dedicated executive board of passionate students.

These students are the backbone of each event, and their passion inspires thousands around them.  For Children’s Miracle Network of Greater St. Louis, the St. Louis Area Dance Marathon held at Washington University in St. Louis has been our premier Dance Marathon, reaching a grand total of over one million dollars at last year’s event and now planning for its 13th annual event.

In 2012, our newest program launched with a bang. Saint Louis University Dance Marathon had an extremely successful first year, raising over $30,000 with over 300 registered participants!
