Danielle Aubuchon, 14

Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center

Danielle Aubuchon is a healthy, active and energetic 14 year-old.  She plays flute in the school band, on the Honor Roll and a member of the Junior Honor Society. She had hardly ever missed school until last February when her mother, Zoe Ann picked her daughter up from school early because she was feeling sick.

St. Louis Children’s Hospital

Life seemed just about perfect for Kim and Larry Pennock. They had a beautiful, healthy three year old daughter and were expecting their second child. Kim went to her doctor for her routine 20 week ultrasound expecting to hear her child was developing normally and would be born healthy.
